Overview

The Bon Secours Wellness Arena stands on the northern side of downtown Greenville, a small South Carolina city with one of the most pleasant town centres in the American South. Main Street is lined with trees, outdoor tables and independent shops, and a few minutes' walk south of it is Falls Park on the Reedy, where a river tumbles over rocks right in the middle of the city.

Journey play here on Saturday 14 November 2026 on their Final Frontier farewell tour. Our Journey tour cities guide has every other stop.

Greenville on foot

Start at Falls Park and walk across the Liberty Bridge, a curved suspension footbridge that hangs over the waterfall. Paths follow the river through gardens, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a walking and cycling path on an old railway line, runs from here out to the suburb of Travelers Rest, with cafés along the way; bikes can be hired downtown. Back on Main Street, look out for the small bronze mice hidden along the pavements, a long-running treasure hunt for children.

Greenville has a strong restaurant scene for its size, with Southern cooking, barbecue and good brunch places. A Saturday show means downtown will be busy, so book dinner.

Into the mountains

The Blue Ridge foothills start just north of the city. Table Rock and Caesars Head State Parks have trails and wide views over the hills, and by mid-November most leaves have fallen but the air is clear and the crowds have gone. Asheville, in North Carolina, is about an hour's drive up the motorway and pairs well with this show for a longer trip.

A short weekend plan

With a Saturday show, a simple plan works well: arrive on Friday, walk Main Street and Falls Park that evening, ride part of the Swamp Rabbit Trail or drive to the mountains on Saturday morning, and be back downtown for an early dinner before the show. On Sunday, have a long Southern brunch before heading home or on to Asheville or Charlotte. Downtown is safe and lively on a Saturday night, and the walk back to most hotels is short.

Greenville's compact size is its strength on a show night: you can have dinner, walk to the arena and walk back to your hotel without once getting into a car.

Tickets & Getting There

Tickets

Buy from the arena's official ticket seller or through the band's official site rather than from private sellers.

Getting there

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is a short drive east of the city; a rideshare or rental car is the simplest way in. Charlotte's larger airport, with more international connections, is a couple of hours away by road. Downtown Greenville is small enough to walk, and most central hotels are within reach of the arena on foot.

Where to stay

  • Downtown, near Main Street: walk to the arena, the restaurants and Falls Park.
  • The West End: around Falls Park and the minor league ballpark, a little quieter at night.

Accessibility and VIP

Accessible seats are sold through the official seller; contact guest services for help with entrances. Buy VIP packages only through the band's official site.

Parking

Downtown has several public garages within a short walk of the arena. On a Saturday night they fill early, so arrive in good time or leave the car at your hotel and walk. Rideshares are easy to find downtown, but expect higher prices as the arena empties.

Tips

  • Check the arena's bag policy before setting off.
  • See Falls Park in daylight and again after dark, when the bridge and the falls are lit.
  • Book restaurants and hotels early for a Saturday; the town is small and fills fast on event weekends.
  • Bring layers. November days can be mild, but evenings turn cold, especially in the hills.
  • Hire a bike for the Swamp Rabbit Trail rather than walking the whole thing.
  • Look for the mice on Main Street; a printed map from the visitor centre helps find them all.
  • Arrive in good time for parking on a Saturday; the closest garages fill first.
  • Combine the trip with Asheville if you have an extra day; the drive is short and scenic.
  • Bring a light rain jacket; showers can blow in quickly from the mountains.
