Overview
Few live music venues in Southeast Asia match the scale and tropical night energy of Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. As part of the BTS World Tour 'Arirang', all seven members of BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook) return to Thailand's national stadium for three evening shows on Thursday 3 December, Saturday 5 December, and Sunday 6 December 2026, with Friday 4 December scheduled as a rest day between the opening night and the weekend performances. Because the venue sits inside the Hua Mak Sports Complex along busy Ramkhamhaeng Road in Bang Kapi District, and because Thai stadium admissions rely on physical ticket exchanges and passport checks, preparing your logistics a day ahead transforms your concert experience.
Inside the Hua Mak Sports Complex and the 51,552-Seat Stadium Bowl
Located at 286 Ramkhamhaeng Road (Hua Mak Subdistrict, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240), Rajamangala National Stadium was built for the 13th Asian Games in 1998 and is managed by the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT). Unlike downtown arenas attached directly to shopping malls, the stadium anchors a wide athletic campus shared with the Huamark Indoor Stadium, training tracks, and tree-lined plazas. On concert days, those outer SAT grounds open early as a festival zone hosting official merchandise booths, Weverse pickup lanes, hydration tents, and ticket exchange marquees.
Architecturally, Rajamangala is an asymmetric open-air bowl with an official seated capacity of 51,552, expanding further when pitch standing or floor seating is added for concerts. Only the western main grandstand (Zone W) is sheltered beneath a cantilevered roof canopy, whereas the tall eastern grandstand (Zone E) and the northern and southern curves (Zones N and S) remain completely open to the sky:
- Pitch Standing and Floor Seating Zones. Laid out across protective turf flooring on the central field. Depending on the official promoter floor plan, floor sections require colour-coded wristbands issued at the outer SAT plaza after your ticket and passport are verified.
- West Grandstand (Zones W1, W2, and W3). The three-tiered covered western side of the stadium. Because the sun sets behind the western roof structure, Zone W seats receive afternoon shade earliest and enjoy overhead cover if a brief shower passes.
- East Grandstand (Zones E1, E2, and E3) and Curves (Zones N and S). Open to the evening breeze, the high eastern tiers and curved ends create an unbroken wall of ARMY Bomb lightsticks facing the stage. Reaching upper E2 and E3 blocks involves climbing long exterior concrete staircases, so wear supportive closed-toe shoes.
December marks the start of Bangkok's cooler, drier northeast monsoon season, yet afternoon temperatures around Hua Mak still hover near 30 to 32 degrees Celsius before easing after dusk. If you plan to spend two or three days sightseeing between the Thursday and weekend shows, pair your concert trip with our guides to Siam's shopping malls and Bangkok street food.
Tickets & Getting There
ThaiTicketMajor Vouchers, Passport Checks and Getting to Hua Mak
Official primary ticketing for the Bangkok dates is handled by Live Nation Tero and ThaiTicketMajor (TTM) alongside Weverse ARMY Membership presale registration. Online bookings on ThaiTicketMajor issue an electronic Order Confirmation (E-Voucher) rather than a direct turnstile pass. You must exchange that voucher for a physical plastic ticket card before entering the security gates, and Floor or VIP holders must register at the SAT plaza booths for their entry wristband. Exchange your voucher a day early at a downtown ThaiTicketMajor outlet (such as Siam Paragon or CentralWorld), bringing your confirmation, original passport matching the buyer name, and a redacted copy of the payment card used.
Ramkhamhaeng Road outside Soi 24 gridlocks heavily on concert afternoons. Skip street taxis on the inbound journey and use one of three dedicated transit routes detailed in our Bangkok getting around guide:
- 1. Khlong Saen Saep Canal Boat to Mahadthai Pier. Commuter boats on the Khlong Saen Saep canal bypass street traffic completely during daylight hours. Board an eastbound boat at Pratunam or Asok Pier, alight at Mahadthai Pier (Ramkhamhaeng 65), and walk ten minutes through the side alley to the SAT campus.
- 2. Airport Rail Link (ARL) to Hua Mak or Ramkhamhaeng Station. Ride the elevated rail line from Phaya Thai or Makkasan to Hua Mak or Ramkhamhaeng station, then connect by MRT Yellow Line or local feeder bus to the gates.
- 3. MRT Yellow Line Monorail. Transfer from the Airport Rail Link at Hua Mak Station onto the MRT Yellow Line to Sports Authority of Thailand or Lam Sali station on Srinagarindra Road, walking in via Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24.
Tips
Pre-Show Cooling Spots, Bag Rules and Late-Night Exit Strategy
Arriving three to four hours before showtime gives you plenty of time to clear wristband checks, hydrate, and visit the fan zones across the Sports Authority of Thailand plaza:
- Where to Eat and Cool Down Near the Gates. Opposite the complex on Ramkhamhaeng Road and inside the rear lanes of Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24 (by Assumption University's Hua Mak campus), dozens of shophouses, cafés, and 7-Eleven stores sell cold water, electrolyte packets, and hot rice dishes. For full air conditioning before heading to the gates, stop at The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi one monorail stop away on the MRT Yellow Line.
- Bag Size and Camera Restrictions. Security checkpoints prohibit bags larger than A4 size (roughly 30 by 21 centimetres), professional or detachable-lens cameras, tablets, laptops, selfie sticks, laser pointers, and oversized banners. Leave large backpacks at your hotel to avoid baggage tent queues.
- How to Leave Hua Mak After the Encore. When fifty thousand fans exit onto Ramkhamhaeng Road at once, street taxis outside SAT Gate 1 barely move and canal boats are closed for the night. Walk out the rear gate down Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24 toward Srinagarindra Road to board the MRT Yellow Line toward Hua Mak or Lat Phrao, or pre-book a round-trip concert shuttle van loading inside the complex bus lot.
