Ibiza Nightlife Guide: Clubs, Areas and Planning Your Night
Club season, areas, tickets, getting home and the rules in Sant Antoni.
Ibiza's big clubs are spread across the south of the island, not packed into one strip, so a night out here takes more planning than in most party cities. Think about timing, transport and budget before the first drink, not after the last one.
When is the club season?
Roughly late April to early October. In 2026 the openings were stacked into the last week of April (Pacha, Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa, [UNVRS] and the DC-10 Circoloco opening), with Amnesia's main opening in early May. Closing parties fill late September and early October. Outside that window the large clubs are shut and the island's nights are bars and restaurants, as our guide to the seasons explains. June and September give you the full line-ups with fewer people than July and August.
Which area suits me?
Playa d'en Bossa is the headline strip: Ushuaïa runs open-air daytime shows that end before midnight, and Hï Ibiza across the road takes over after. DC-10 sits on its own near the airport and the Ses Salines road, rawer and more underground. Ibiza Town has Pacha on the marina, plus late bars in La Marina below Dalt Vila. Amnesia and [UNVRS] (the huge former Privilege building) face each other at Sant Rafel, on the road to Sant Antoni. Sant Antoni is younger and louder, with Eden, Es Paradis and O Beach, and the sunset bars along the bay. For a base that matches your night, see where to stay in Ibiza.
How do tickets and timing work?
Each night is a promoter's party, so you buy for a named DJ or brand rather than for the club. Book online through the club's own site: door prices are higher and big nights sell out. Clubs fill late, rarely before 1am, and run until around 6am. Drinks inside are expensive, so budget for that as much as for the ticket.
How do I get home?
The Discobus night network runs from May to September, with thinner service around the opening and closing parties. Line D1 links Sant Antoni and Ibiza port via [UNVRS], Amnesia and Pacha; D3 joins Sant Antoni and Playa d'en Bossa via DC-10, Ushuaïa and Hï. Queues build at closing time and full buses shut their doors. Taxis are licensed and metered, but scarce at 6am in August; use official ranks and refuse unlicensed drivers touting outside clubs. Some clubs run their own shuttle for ticket holders, so check when you buy.
What are the rules in Sant Antoni's West End?
The West End is one of the zones covered by the Balearic decree on excessive tourism, in force until the end of 2027. Shops there cannot sell alcohol between 9.30pm and 8am, drinking in the street is fined, and party boats are kept away from the coast near these zones. Happy hours, open bars and organised pub crawls are banned, and hotels can evict guests for balconing (climbing or jumping between balconies). The bay's sunset strip is calmer, and our 5-day itinerary keeps the club night to one evening.
