Because Malta is only 27 kilometres long and every bus and ferry radiates from Valletta, basing yourself inside the Baroque capital for three full days lets you experience both the entire UNESCO fortress peninsula and Malta's greatest surrounding wonders without changing hotels once. In three days, you can cover Valletta, the Three Cities, the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, and Mdina. Follow this hour-by-hour route together with our Valletta travel guide and our Valletta food and restaurant guide.
